Door Key Cylinder

I had to remove door key cylinder from 2008 Honda Pilot driver side door. I will replace it with a new one. What about the fob in the key. How can I address that? Anything else I should keep in mind about this?

welcome to the forum. You may have to go to the dealer to have the fob matched up to your car. if you do go to the dealer take your registration/ownership papers with you.
