Exclamation Engine Mystery Problems

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey with 180,000 miles on it. The engine burns a little over a quart of oil every 500 miles, and began making a sound similar to valve clatter or a misfiring cylinder. But the sound is intermittent, sometimes super loud, sometimes just a purr. And the noise isn't determined by speed or RPM's. There isn't any rhyme or reason to it. Anyways, when I realized the car was losing its pep, I replaced all the sparkplugs and realized that they were all pretty gunked up and burnt, with one spark plug being the worst. So I ran SeaFoam, and replaced the coil where the worst spark plug was. Well, the car sounded great for a day or two, and then went right back to the same noise it was making before. I checked the spark plugs after 500 miles, and despite the brand new DuraLast coil, that one spark plug was burnt white while all the others were fine. So I ran a compression test, and they are all within the 10% difference margin. Any troubleshooting ideas?
