Default Funny thing happening when installing stereo

I am installing a new planet audio p350mb deck in my 2001 CRV. All the wires seem to be correctly connected and I can see the deck receiving radio, connecting to my phone by Bluetooth, and all the functions seem to work but I’m not getting any sound out of the speakers. There’s about two seconds of sound that comes out when I’m turning the key from on to accessory, but then the deck dies. I checked the currents with the multimeter and it seems to be getting 12 V.

Anyone know what this could be? It says only use speakers with four ohms impedance, is it related to that? I couldn’t find info on the impedance of the stock speakers.

is there a power surge that happens when switching the key giving it enough energy to kick out some sound? I’m lost!

thanks!
