Angry Audio in My CRV!

The sound in My 2020 CRV does not sound anywhere near the quality of My 2017 or My 2012, sounds the same on FM or Sierus XM. I have tried every adujustment , bass , mid , and treble, to no avail, I DID NOTICE THAT THE LITTLE SPEAKERS, THAT I ASSUME TO BE TWEETERS, HAVE NO SOUND COMMING FROM THEM. ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED . lil g

being that your CR-V is under warranty, you might ask the honda dealership service manager if they might look into the tweeters not working. If you decide to replace your own up graded good speakers, always get the ok from the Service manager as long as the car is under warranty. might be an easy replacement as i did on my 07 Fit but if anything goes bad on the radio they can void the warranty to fix. mine no warranty i can do what ever mods i wish.

I have a 2020 CR-V EX, the stock sound was horrible, and ended up replacing the front and rear speakers. I purchased Hertz K-170 (6.75" midrange/woofer and separate tweeter) for the front door, and Hertz X-170 (6.75" coaxial) for the rear door. I got them from Crutchfield, which threw in the mounting kits and wiring adapters. Installation was easy - about 30 minutes per door. Both highs and lows were extended, all harshness disappeared, and because the Hertz speakers were much more efficient, the head unit plays significantly louder without distorting. While this was a MAJOR improvement, I still found the bass lacking and ended up installing a compact powered subwoofer under the rear passenger side seat (Kenwood KSC-PSW8). This was a major undertaking, spent over 6 hours (much of which was misspent trying to tap into the wiring for the rear speakers, until I figured out how to do it easily), but now I have a truly decent sounding setup.

The sound inour 2000 and 2016 Accords sound amazing, better than the Bose system in my Corvette. Honda does a great job with their systems

The CR-V is more spacious, that may make the difference! The replacement of the front tweeters did make a great improvement, thanks for all of Your input , LIL G
