Default Having engine trouble please help!

Hi all. I have a 93 del sol with a t-3 turbo setup on a 2000 Y8 SOHC. The motor has just been rebuilt with 8:1 compression.

The car was an auto, but was converted to manual. After the turbo and biggerinjectors were put in it was tuned to handle 9k rpm. I had no problems and the car ran great.

Before I had the rebuild done, the rpm would stutter at around 6-7rpm. This started happening about 6 months after the turbo and manual tranny put in. I then sent the motor to be rebuilt to handle more boost. After the rebuild it was not retuned because the stuttering problem is still there along with other issues:

1. The car stutters when rpm reaches 6-7rpm
2. The car shuts off after a stop and start and at idle.
3. The oil light is flickering, yet the oil is full.
4. Power loss compared to when I first had the turbo in on stock motor.

Any ideas? The guy who did the motor says it’s tuning, but the stuttering began happening before the rebuild.

is there any way for you to check your fuel pressure through out the power range, especially at 6-7k rpm. ck your throttle control, and idle cut off vlv. check the oil pressure guage sending unit . ck compression. check also your cam lobe lift. ( for flat cam lobe.) make sure turbo waste gate is smooth and not sticking.
