Take a hammer and lightly tap the end of the key while in the off position,i know that usually works for a key stuck in a door cylinder. Just tap lightly.

Smile Had this issue before. Fixed

Hey there, sorry to hear about your issue. I had the same problem on a 04 civic. I had to remove the entire ignition switch that is attached to the sensor module. I had to remove the plastic covers around the steering wheel.. There were two rounded off bolts that I had to remove using a hammer, chisel, and bought some Irving Bolt extractors.

Bolt Extractors - Tools - IRWIN TOOLS

I then took it to a Key Smith who only charged $40 dollars to replace the Tumblers inside they ignition switch that were damaged.
I found replacement bolts at home depot.

Saved me having to tow the car to the dealer and spending some serious cash!

Hope all this information is helpful!
