misfiring
we have a 1995 honda accord v6 misfiring on # 5 cylinder at low rpm. we replaced egr valve, all plugs and wires, rotor cap and distributor .have had the car analysed . they told us what the problem was but they can't tell me what is causing the problem.can you help me?

Have a compression test to verify the mechanical fit and function is working correctly.
If there is a problem with #5 mechanically like a leaky valve or worn rings, a compression test will indicate it very quickly.
They should also perform a sparkplug drop out test to see if there is possibly a electrical problem with the #5 cylinder.

A fuel injector is nothing but an electronically controlled valve. It is supplied with pressurized fuel by the fuel pump in your car, and it is capable of opening and closing many times per second. check for this.. http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/...-location2.jpg the honda accord fuel injectors are mounted in the intake manifold so that they spray fuel directly at the intake valves. A pipe called fuel rails supplies pressurized fuel to all of the injectors.
