Default Missing after tune up

Alright.. i have a 1990 honda civic 1.5 ran fine before i did a tune up (plugs, wires) after changing the plugs and wires it started to miss, give it throttle it bogs and sputters thru low RPMS.. i bought a new dist. rotor becasue the plastic on the old one was cracked.. i thought that would solve it. annnd still does the same crap... so after changing plugs, wires, and dist. rotor it is runnin worse then before.. idk whats up.. i checked the firing order and its correct.. so any suggestions? i am totally aggarvated and lost on this one..

welcome to the forum. Don't get fustrated, I understand the car ran good before you changed parts, so recheck each part again, plug gap and if it is firing, wires that spark is coming through, the distributor cap to see if jumping across or hairline crack. if you have the old parts, you might use some of these to help do the troubleshooting

might want to try a compression check. 3 things engine needs, air, gas, electric.

my 3rd cylinder looks real dirty.. im thinking it may have sludge n gunk on it where its just not combusting.. maybe the sludge is insulating the pistion to where no contact can be made.. everything from my wire to plug works.. but when i take it out.. it makes no diffrence.. i dumped some lucas in my gas..maybe it will clear it up some.. but when i take the wire off.. give it some throttle and allow some gas to build up.. THEN put my wire back on.. it will have prob 4 or 6 good strokes then it goes back to missing again.. just my theroy so imma see if i cant sea foam it and run some lucas and see what happens.

good theory, the cylinder rings may be worn out a bit, or oil coming in from the valve seal. I have used restore in an older ford van with 150k, and it helped out for a short while. (225K)
