I have a 2000 civic. the odometer and trip a/b will not increase in numerical value. it literaly is stuck on the number that appears. The speedometer works and all the dash lights work, so i am wondering if it is and ecu thing or something else. thanks for the help.

 

welcome to the forum, if the speed o meter works, it sounds more like the odometer part is bad, the instrument it'self. have you tried pushing and letting the trip **** pop out, the oposite of banging it in. Let it slam out to see if it clears.

 

Check the VSS or speed sensor
