Girlfriend has a 94 civic, her ex did a fuel filter swap, twice for some reason. Ever since he did the car starts, but only runs for about 2 minutes then just dies. Shes wanting to get this fixed so her kid can learn to drive in it.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

 

welcome in,it sounds like the fuel is being restricted is the filter installed correctly ,flow proper, check to see if a fuel line is kinked .

Have seen fuel pump and fuel filter in one unit
If the engine did not have this problem before??
And when replacing the filter, sometimes the hoses are not connected tightly or something
So, engine will start and run until the thing comes loose and engine stalls out.
Would need to doublecheck the work done.
