Question about A/C button
Hello,
My wife and I just bought a new 2023 Honda Accord LX, and we don't completely understand the function of the A/C button. In our previous cars, we only used the A/C setting when we wanted air conditioning. Some people now seem to suggest that no matter whether we now want heat or air conditioning, that we must push the A/C button on. Is this correct? If so, we don't understand why, and if so,wouldn't this mean that the compressor would be running too much?

Yes, it has an owners' manual, but it's confusing, and I am hoping that someone on this forum will be able to answer my question and help my wife and I to understand this issue. We love the car, but we are very concerned about the heating and air conditioning issue.
