Replaced front wheel bearing and noise came back after 2 weeks
I bought a used 2012 Honda Civic with 30K miles on it that had a loud hum coming from the front at 25 MPH or higher. It ended up being a bad bearing on the front left wheel, and I did the bearing replacement myself. I went from barely being able to hear my music to having peace and quiet inside the cabin, but a couple weeks later and now I'm hearing a very faint version of the original bearing hum, and it behaves the same way (goes away one direction, louder the other direction). I want to keep it from getting worse but I'm afraid if it's already making noise it's too late, and so I'd need to replace it again in addition to whatever fix to the suspension I may need to do.
So now I am really sad. I did all of that work just to realize there is something else wrong, but I don't really know what for sure. It's probably either the shock or the knuckle, most likely the shock. Coincidentally, autozone sent me an e-mail about education on shocks and struts just a few days after I did my job. It's like they know a lot of the time people buy stuff for their bearing replacement, and then later realize it was actually the suspension that caused the problem in the first place.
My suspension doesn't feel bad, but maybe I just don't know what good suspension feels like. I've never driven a car newer than ten years old at any given time so I probably don't know what brand new suspension feels like. I can certainly feel small cracks in the road, and speed bumps are annoying. But considering this car has been on the same suspension for about ten years, I'd bet all of the shocks and struts are in need of replacement. I just want to hear from someone more experienced on this before I continue to do so.

Did you use Honda OEM parts or aftermarket parts?
Did you replace the hub or cut off the inner race of bearing off the hub?
Are you sure it is the same bearing and not the other side?
I recently replace my right front wheel bearing on my 2007 CRV.
Took me 7 hours because things did not go right.
Stuck circlip. Rust welded in place. Stuck wheel bearing. Rusted.
Nothing wanted to go right. It works but I have not driven it much.
Looking forward to doing it all again .... NOT!!!

I went with aftermarket because the price different was so great.
Might regret it later on. But for now, it is working.
And when nothing was going right for me, I had the thought of just replacing the whole thing including the knuckle
I am sorry for your troubles.
And wish I had any good advice to give.
Unfortunately, all I can say is to verify where the noise is coming from and ....
Hope you are right and it is the strut (doubtful).
Good luck.
