The other day I heard some noise under my 2017 Accord as I was pulling in my condo garage. I was hoping it was just a branch that was caught, but it was that plastic or metal guard on the underside (splash guard maybe?) A few of the clips or hooks must have come loose and now the inner part drags on the ground. I know this isn't a big repair, but I'm hesitant to drive it to my Honda dealer as I'm not certain if this is plastic or metal and I don't want to ignite a spark. I can't get under it to tape it or I would do so. As I can grab part of it from the front it appears to be plastic. Would it be best if I take this to a local place about a block away to tape up first, or would this be safe to drive in this condition at about 30 mph to the Honda dealer?
welcome to the forum. If there is any way to string or wire it up off the ground it would be safer. Don't need it catching on to anything on the ground and ripping it out.
