snow chains sizing question
Hello,
I have a general question regarding snow chain sizing that I hope someone of you that have used them in the past can answer for me. I have 2 Honda Odyssey (a 1999 and a 2009) which have different size tires, 215/65-16 on the 1999 and 235/65-16 on the 2009 model. Now my question is that I need to buy a set of snow chains but I hate to have to buy 2 different sets of chains for the 2 different size tires, so I wanted to know if I buy a set for tire size 225/65-16 (middle between 215 and 235) would I be able to use the set on both the 215/65-16 and 235/65-16 even though those sizes are not listed on the box.
Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum. When I purchase snow chains or cables I have noticed that the chains/cables will fit several size tires. You just need to view the tag and most of the time they will fit your sizes with one chain. A headsup, get a couple of rubber bungies to take up the slack on the chain after installation to prevent fender well slapping. Unless after install the chain is nice and snug, then bungie not needed. Enjoy the snow
