I am wondering what the best way to fix my 94 honda del sol trunk lid. On the inside there is the metal frame and it has come off from the trunk outside and rattles a lot from my sub. I felt between the lid and it feels like it used to be attached by rubber and came unstuck. I took a picture to help you understand what I am talking about below.

 

welcome to the forum. Try using foam padding, purchase at home depot. used for sealing doors from cold or hot air. some have a sticky side to keep it in place.

 

spray a tiny amount of expanding foam at each contact point.
