I have an 07 Accord SE. All my Back Lighting on my Radio/HVAC **** lighting has gone out. Has anyone had this problem before?

i have an 06 and have same issue. i have seen TSB's for 04's as a known issue by Honda and the fix is replacing a PCM board. dealer wants me to pay for 1 diagnostic

I had the same issue on my 03. The dealer said it was would be very costly to replace the bulb. He said also Honda was coming out with a service bulletin. I never got it and I traded the car in. I had 123K when it went out so warranty was not an option.

 

Anyone have a DIY for replacing this bulb or whatever is the problem? Anyone diagnose the exact cause of this issue? My '03 has no radio light which also illuminates the HVAC status.

 

So I found a Youtube vid explaining the cause and fix for no lights on radio / HVAC, it's a part in the circuitboard that can be by-passed or replaced if the right replacement could be found.

 

I have an 05 and I have the same problem, after my radio cuts out when it turns back on all I hear is static

 

My radio works fine I just can not see the stations… or any of the fan, AC, defroster settings. If I use a flashlight I can make out the numbers and letters. Otherwise everything works OK, just cant see what they are set at.
