I have a 98 Honda accord lx 4 cylinder VTEC. My brand new thermostat won't open when installed I boiled it to be sure it opened and it to at 170. My car is not over heating but the lower hose will not get warm and the thermostat will just not open. I'm at a loss just want my heater to work

 

welcome to the forum. have you checked to see if your heater valve is working or your heater switch in the cabin.

 

Yea,the heater controll valve is not opening.
