Hi! New to this forum. I need some advice about my 81 Accord. My dad turned it into a truck for me back in the 90’s. It’s been running up until last year. There is a problem with the carburetor and the mechanic who is looking at it says that it is a very unusual one. Should I try and get it rebuilt? Can I get a replacement? Should I change up the engine or replace the carb with fuel injection? My dad is ready to return it to me and I’d like to keep driving it for a long time. Does anyone know of a mechanic in New England with experience working on vintage Accords who could take this on? Thanks 🙏

 

Does that have the box with like 25 vacuum lines going to it?
