This is a 1990 Honda accord LX 4 door sedan with a 4 speed automatic transmission, 4 cylinder. Accelerates to aprox. 55 mph, 2500 rpm then starts to lug and the speed decreases down to 10 mph, their it accellerates slowly with hesitation. A knocking noise is heard from under the hood coming from the passanger side. Does anybody have a link to a honda accord troubleshooting fourm? Or know what the problem is and how to fix it?
I changed the catalytic converter today because it was partially clogged and it didn't make any difference.
