My car will start only sometimes when it does start the check engine light will go off but when it wont the check engine light will stay on and will crank but wont fire. already replaced the distrubutor, coil, rotor, plug wires, plugs, and just installed a new ecu and still does the same thing. Can anyone help me! thanks

 

welcome to the forums.. when you cut the power on but not the motor its self listen out to see if you can hear the fuel pump prime its self.. it will be kind of quiet but you will be able to notice it.

 

Check all the power plug and wiring of the car. It might help.
