Hello,

I just bought a 1997 Honda Accord. A few days after purchasing it, my check engine light came on. Does anyone know why this happens? Anything I can do other than take it to a mechanic?

Also, the car came with a funky aftermarket grill. Does anyone know where I can buy a normal grill for it? Just the original one that comes standard. And how hard would it be to install it?

welcome to the forum, call around and find out if there are any auto parts places that will do a on line check of the check engine light. ammco, autozone, some do this at no charge.
try ebay, salvage yard, or on line honda dealer that will give good discounts. Mag auto parts member on this forum sells at a good price, hondaautomotiveparts.com, craigslist.org

 

i wouldn't let aftermarket grill in my car. try some online stores, sometimes they really help. and the price is not bad.
