Has anyone had or heard of oil dilution problems with the 2018 or newer 2.0 turbo Honda engines.

 

I heard that the engines with turbo and GDI (gasoline direct injection) are the ones with concerns of oil dilution.
The boost pressure and the high pressure of the gas direct injectors pushes the gasoline pass the rings to dilute the oil.
Of course, have no idea if true or not.

 

thank you I will keep an eye on it and make sure the oil doesn’t smell like heavy gasoline.
