Default 2001 Honda Accord V6 EX model I screwed something up!

Originally at (http://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicAdvi...1491_cel_code/) I had a code p1491 for the egr valve, so with the help on there, and research i decided that it was a clogged egr port/valve. I take out the engine air filter, throttle body, and the intake manifold to reveal the egr port. I clean that out and put it all together. Simple right?

NO! I screwed something up, i don't get a stable RPM anymore and when i push on the accelerator a bit it goes up and then jumps. I took a video and it's right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiPl2...ature=youtu.be

I'm freaking out, i'm scared stupid that i broke something expensive. I'm only 16 and it's the family car, really don't want my dad to get mad at me.

looks like you have a vacuum leak somewhere most likely around the intake manifold.

I have the same problem with my accord, I replaced the IACV and the intake gasket and still have an idle at about 1500-1800. What did you replace? I have also looked along all the lines and can't find a leak anywhere

I didn't replace anything! Make sure you torque everything to 16lb-ft, and if you replaced a gasket, make sure you completely clean the surface and scrape off any old gasket crap.
