Default 2003 Accord V6 Coupe

The engine in my Honda Accord EX Coupe with a six speed manual transmission had a failure in cylinder 2 which resulted in uncontrollable oil consumption. Sadly it only had about 80K. I bought a used engine from a yard I have dealt with for over 40 years. The used engine has about the same miles as my old one. Removal went without a hitch but now they are sitting on my garage floor side by side and I have noticed a difference in the two. The old 3.0 V6 has a sensor on the passenger side of the intake manifold just above the power steering pump. The new does not and has a blank boss where it would attach. There is a sticker with a part number Denso 012010-1010 12V. Common sense tells me I'm going to need to transfer the old intake and engine harness to the (new) engine. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

It was pretty straight forward. I swapped the intakes, engine harness, flywheel and a couple of motor mount brackets. It seem the "new" engine was from an automatic transmission car. While I had it on the stand, I installed new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, valve cover gaskets and spark plugs. Also put in new warm up cat on front bank and installed a new clutch in the transaxle. All cleaned up and sitting pretty I hope to install it back in the car on Sunday.

Again thanks
