Default 2004 2.4 camshaft sensor(s)

Hello,
I'm helping a friend with her accord, she's a little tight on funds at the moment and I'm trying to save her buying both the crankshaft positron sensor (cmp) -a and sensor -b. One sits on the exhaust cam, the other on the intake n

In reading what I can in the FSM and in the crappy Chiltons (which seems to be v6 only and ignores the 2.4 I4...) it seems like one sensor controls running during cranking, the other during running.
can anybody tell me if it's the front or rear sensor which controls while starting/cranking?
She said IF it started, it'd run just fine.
unfortunately, cannot tell you mileage our even if there's oil in the pan, so far I've hadv ery little contact with the car.
many thanks!

Default Huh...

In all the schematics & parts lists I've seen, and in looking at the side of the head, next to the egr valve (I think) there is a camshaft position sensor for the intake and exhaust cams...
