This past week, on three occasions I parked facing down a rather steep hill, and when I did a U-turn from my parking place, my car made a very loud high pitch squeaking noise.

When I park on a flat street and do a U-turn, my car does not make the noise. Any idea as to the cause of that noise? Is it something I need get repaired or looked at right away?

P.S. The car is a 2005 special value package (DX auto w/air and power windows) and has under 40k on it.

 

welcome to the forum. check in your wheel well and on your tires if you had tire rub on the inside wheel well. This may cause a high pitch squeaking noise. Also check your brake pads for excessive brake dust.
