Default Using a 6 cylinder Batery in My 2007 4 cyl Honda accord

Hi,
I have to replace my 07 Accord LX 4 cyl battery .
Could I use a V6 battery that has more CC Amps and cost about the same as the 4 cyl one?.. noticed that the base/screws were designed to hold the V6 which is bigger. Any electrical limitation?..Thanks

Default battery problem

well the only way to fix a battery problem is to get a new battery lol but as far as your warrenty goes just call the dealership act like a lawyer and tell them there getting sued. if the what you say is true then they are not obeying the law. im sure non of us are either but dealerships got money anyways...

so threaten to sue there *** if they don't bite then right up a civil (i cant spell) sophina basically says there going to court i say civil one because it looks mean and you dont have to pay money for it.. just to scare them...

I too, have battery problems with my 2008 EX-L. Ever since the car was new, I've experienced the lights dimming as the AC cycled on & off - Honda Service said that was normal. In addition, I had to call AAA to jump start the car after I started & stopped, then restarted several times one rainy day. I've had the dealer check the battery - It's fine! Ha!

You really have to wonder WHY a very successful company, like Honda, would risk damaging their reputation and/or lose existing customers rather than admit the battery installed in the Accord is TOO SMALL!!!

Since Honda refuses to fix the problem, my solution will be to replace the "stock" battery with the largest that will fit in the battery holder. Forget the warranty!

I have similar problems with my 2005 Euro accord 2.4L 4cyl, stock is a 45Ah battery and we have temperatures down to around -30C, I have not been able to find a higher capacity battery that fits. What I have done is connect a battery charger that is connected to my winter heating system so that I always have a fully charged battery during the winter months...
