I just found several burns on the interior roof of the car. They are in the area around the back light. They are pretty deep and one is approx 3 inches long, the others are round, sorta like a cigrete burn. They are black and deep. This worries me. Does anyone have any idea what this could be.

 

welcome to the forum. If your car is still under warranty, you might want to take it back to the dealer to confirm, looks like it might be a wire shorting, or over heating for some reason.
