My wife’s 2015 accord sport has this hard rattle start sound that goes away after 2-3 seconds. I’ve searched everywhere over the car and can’t find anything that seems like it would be making the sound. Maybe I’m missing something.

if the car is warm it doesn’t make the sound but if it is a cold start it does.

im trying to attach a video of the start. Maybe someone could point me in the direction I need to go. Or tell me to take it in. Thank you!!

 

Welcome to the forum. Possible cat. Loose honey comb until warm up then expands and gets tight. Or exhaust heat shield.
