my inside door handle housing has broken on both sides. i was wondering if this is a common problem. Also, off topic, would a 1.6 liter Vtec win against a non-Vtec 2.2?

 

Welcome to the forum, no not a common problem for the door handle inside to break, unless you had some strong persons or bad winter weather where someone pulled real hard to open the door. And depends on the condition of the engines if racing and what they have in them. Also in what type of car the engines are in. a 1.6 Vetc has about 104 hp in a civic, the 91 accord has 125 hp or more in the ex model, but a heavier car.
