'93 - Another Door Question
In fixing the glass guides and actuators, I had to remove the interior driver's side door panel. I got everything back in place without a problem until the last step of connecting the door release rod to the door opening tab. The little plastic clip that keeps the rod in the opener was brittle with age and broke. Searching online I can find a replacement for less than 2 bucks but they want 16 bucks to ship it. That, to me, is highway robbery.
I plan to go back to the pick a part place and see if I can find one that will work, but I was wondering if anyone had come up with a clever workaround that will keep the rod in the door opening actuator. I've been considering trying Sugru.
Has anyone done this or something else that will be better that the little plastic clips that get brittle with age and break?

HondaPartsNow.com supplied me with the clips. I bought a couple extra. The parts were reasonably priced, shipping and handling was reasonable and prompt. Got them from USPS 4 business days after they were ordered.
