Default 94 ignition switch, key assembly ?

someone tried to steal my 94 accord and jammed a screwdriver or something in the key hole and messed up the tumblers,so now the battery drains overnite because something is triggering the switch to stay in the on possition? and now i cant even get the key out.Is this a hard fix?do i need special tools?does this sound like I need a new harness also?or switch itself? can anyone give me some advice please? Thank you, Ron

welcome to the forum. Go to tegger.com and scroll down to ignition switch and it will show you service manual diagrams to remove and replace, you should be able to do it. Also there may have been a recall on your switch.
If you plan to do lots of maintenance to your car to save lots of money, get yourself a factory service manual, it is easier to read and fix your car with. Or go to the library and you can get to use manual for no cost.
