97 Accord harsh/hard idle.

97 Accord harsh/hard idle.
I have a 1997 accord LX . 153k miles 2.2 5 speed
Runs great. I have what I will term a "harsh" idle issue.
What is the (warmed up) idle RPM supposed to be? *The car when idling is not idling (rough) as in missing or skipping. *It is idling "hard". *That is, it is very staccato when at idle. *When this is happening, the tach appears steady to be at 750 RPms. *It's hard to tell because of the gradations below 1000 rpm on the tach.
The car runs perfectly, plenty of power and no misses or skipping. *It is just an idle issue. *The idle is very steady, and the engine does not die, it just "buzzes" the interior, and feels like the car is on a vibrating pad. *If I press on the accelerator at all with any increase in RPMS the hardness/vibrations go away and everything is smooth.*
I suspectd a motor mount (it may still be) but I had a friend sit in the car and let the clutch out slowly in 1st and reverse, while I watched the "engine roll". The engine did not seemed roll much at all. This I am (at least) tentatively ruling out the motor mounts.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks.

Odds are it's your front engine mount, I have a 96 Accord LX and it did the same thing, and I've seen it on many other cars in the 94-97 gen accords. Just because the engine isn't rolling that much doesn't mean it's not mount. Can't say for sure, but in my experience its the front mount. If you do replace it, I recommend going with the factory mount, the aftermarket ones don't help the vibration in my experience
