Default 99 Honda Accord dying when driving and stopping

I have seen 6 mechanics and no one knows what’s wrong. When I drive my car it will shut off and I have to pull over before losing power steering, then I have to shut the car off and let it sit because if I instantly start it it will instantly die again. Then at other times it will die when I’m slowing down to stop or turn and I have to do the same thing except in the middle of the road. Someone help.

Could be many things causing this.
Since this is intermittent then it becomes a difficult task to troubleshoot
And most garages will not want to spend so much time and effort on it.
Need to do a few tests.
When it stalls out, check to see if you have spark.
Listen for fuel pump to run for a second or two when the key is first turned to the on position

welcome to the forum. 97-99 accord have a known problem with their ignition switch to cause a sporadic shut down. i believe there is a recall for the vehicle. have your vin number available and call a dealer service center to see if yours has been done or needs to be done.
