Default Accord 2000, V6, will not turn over

Has been acting up for some time. Usually when it acts up, it starts, runs rough, or shuts off. Tonight, would not even turn over. Battery is good. Turn key to start position and nothing happens....tapped on starter while holding key in start position - nothing.

Never got an answer on where the main relay is located. Do not think that is the problem anymore. I think it is the ignition. Any ideas?

battery good, terminals clean, starter is good, key switch may be faulty. called honda and they mentioned that the 2000 accord had several ignition switches on recall. #05v025000 28jan05 see if your car has been accomplished.

Default 2000 Accord V6 will not turn over

It was the starter this time. Towed it to a mechanic. Took over an hour to get the 17mm bottom starter housing bolt out. Threads were bad on the end of the bolt. Mechanic accidentally broke a transmission solenoid connections while attempting to get the bolt out. It will spend the weekend at the garage.

Called Honda. No ignition recall on my vin #.
