Hi all, new to the forum, but have a question maybe someone can answer. I have owned three Accords and now a fourth. It is a 2004 model and is an EX. When I bought the car, it had a six disc CD changer in it, but the LED screen was busted and the CD did not work. I got a complete Radio/cd dash insert that does not have the 6 disc function. I had the player installed by a professional. Today, i noticed the CD completely shutdown three seperate times. The power just shut off, just to the radio. I turned the thing back on and it worked, but now I am wondering if this is a problem due to the installation of a single disc versus multi disc changer? The connectors matched up perfectly. I am concerned that the original radio got an electrical blast instead of a human act. Anyone got any ideas? I will go back to the "professional" tomorrow, but just curious. Thanks.
