We have a 2005 Honda Accord Vtec Executive A, Petrol, 2354cc. Automatic.

It has started to occasionally rev quite high when stationary such that I can't get it in reverse. Sometimes it does that but at other times is ok.

Any idea what that could be??

 

welcome to the forum check your map sensor and clean, also the idle cut valve. and possible vacuum hose leak.
