Default battery dead twice

Hi, I'm new here. Hope someone can offer advice on this!

Deep cycled battery by mistake (interior light).Replaced with Optima Red Top. http://www.optimabatteries.com/publi..._78_082304.pdf
Was very happy for a week or two.

Then, went on vacation for 2 weeks. Now, again, dead battery.

Any ideas what to check? This time it wasn't me leaving a light on. I'm beginning to wonder if something more sinister is wrong... this Optima has 50AH... should have had no problem going for weeks without a start.

Car is an '04 Accord EX V6 with Nav. Just passed 40k miles. Would take it in to my local dealer but don't feel like getting the rubber glove treatment....again.

Thanks in advance!

cheers,
Albert.

Default RE: battery dead twice

After careful inspection, it seems that *someone* left the rear light on. So... no reply necessary. thanks.
