Smile Brake light issue '93 accord

Hello,

I have a '93 Accord and the rear right brake light was not turning on when I pressed the brake. I bought bulb #2057 and replaced it. Now, the light will come on with the headlights at a dim level, but will not respond/turn on when the brake is pressed.

Can somebody advise me in this situation?

Thanks!!

Default A response from the PEANUT Gallery

My daughter was peeking over my shoulder to see what I reading.
She thought for a few moments and asked my nobody didn't swap bulbs from the left side to the right side to see if the problem was bulb related or if the problem was the wiring / socket.

Then she looked at me and rolled her eyes and walked away ...

I don't know if I want to hug her or strangle her . Hmmm maybe I'll do both.
