Car is 2003 Accord 2.4. I disconnected my battery a few weeks before taking it in for inspection and it naturally wiped all emissions monitoring from car's computer. They told me to put at least 100 miles on it and it will come back up. Here we are nearly 3 weeks and 200 miles later and I still cannot get the Catalyst and Evap monitoring to complete. I found directions for completing the drive cycle and I've done most...however it's extremely difficult for me to try and do the one where you need to decelerate from 55mph to 20mph in the city, and furthermore that only seems to be for EGR. Can someone please tell me how I can get one of the two to complete so I can get my stickers? I'm taking it back in on the 31st and that's the last day my inspection will be legal

 

welcome to the forum. only thing i could suggest is take it on a freeway to speed then pull off the off ramp a couple of times, easy way to do it.
