I couldn't find it in the Chiltons but do I need to replace the hub bearing AND the spindal? Some one said so a while back but I figured I check with you all first. The symptoms are a constant hum that goes at the same rate as the wheel spins. It gets progressively louder the faster I go. The CV joints are relatively new but the wheel bearings, well, you know -- 140K old.

 

You can replace the bearing and hub without replacing the spindle assy.
