Default help! 96 Accord - code P0118 -ect high input???

My 1996 Accord EX 2.2 Vtec hasits check engine light on and I can't register until I fix the problem.
The code is P0118 and says engine coolant temp sensor high input.
I have replaced both sensors and it still reads that code.
No one at Autozone or Checker or Napa could help me.
Does anyone know how to fix this or something I can try...
Any help would be cool, I'm lost and broke and can't register my check engine cursed car.
Thanks

I disconnected the batter terminals for a few minutes and put them back on and after the drive cycle, the code came back on

I don't think taking the battery cable off will do it, I looked this up on another honda site:- remove the 7.5 amp fuse labled "clock back up" on the passenger side. nbr 13 fuse on the box. min 10 sec, do not undo neg cable. try this,I will try to look up the info, and send you an email on how to reset/clear the code.
