Hi,

My mom has a 2002 Honda Accord 6cyl sedan. This morning, she started the car and the horn started going off and wouldn't stop until driving it for about 10 minutes. Then she turned off the car and then turned it on again, and it did the same thing. Even if you open the door, the alarm goes off and won't stop for 5 or 10 minutes. Any ideas? She claims she didn't turn anything either...

 

welcome to the forum. If the car has an alarm system, it may have a sticking relay. if the car does not have an alarm, check the horn relay i beleive it is under the drivers side panel. go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and you maybe able to locate to check the relay. Pull the horn fuse to quiet it down while you are working on the car.
