Today, the malfunction light came on on my 2013 Honda Accord (2 months old) Also, the green/grey circle around speedometer stopped changing colors according to how I drive, it stays grey all the time. About a week go, "check fuel cap" came on, after retightening it, it went away after a day or so. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow but in the meantime - has anyone experienced the same problems and if so, what was the remedy?

was it the check engine light or was it the maintenance required light ???. im asking because since your car is brand new you mite need the oil changed according to engine break in procedure. check your manual for maintenance procedure i believe its 600 miles.

 

It is the Malfunction Indicator Light, MIL.

 

Let the dealer check it out its free under warranty.
