Default Oil in my Antifreeze

Hey guys,

I just bought a 1999 Accourd Coupe with the 4cyl in it. I seem to be getting some oil in my antifreeze. Is this a blown head gasket? Or maybe a craked or warpped block?

welcome to the forum. Yes it could be the head gasket. If you can do a compression check that keeps pressure in the cylinder, you might see the bubbles from the cylinder that is leaking into the water system. If you have an automatic, it could be a leaking transmission cooling line. sometimes difficult to tell which one it is.

I had a blown head gasket on a Datsun some years ago,it made a ticking sound and you could see carbon around the crack in the gasket,if it is the gasket ,you may want to shave the head ,I didn't and had to do it all over again.Good luck.
