i have a 94 civic with a di6z6 i already have coldair,header,exghast and crank pully now running 9.98 best past in 1/8 mile but want more speed but i want it all motor no turbo should i shave the head down? if so how much and maybe port wit injecters?

9.98 1/4 mile?!?! Sweet. Got pics of ur car? do u have any suggestions on whatmods i can do with my accord? Its a 2008 2.4L i4 engine (k24 is the term i think lol) yea im a newb to honda lol.

 

how many horses?? try shaving it .01, flat head pistons, or chipin the ecu either spoon wich saves gas or mugen wich burns more in vtec.

 

solocf: becareful, before you do any mod's to your car, if your car is still under warranty, get an ok from your dealership on what you plan to do and what they say or approve. I have been told about people who have done some great mods, they blow their engines in less than 5k and expected the Honda Dealer to replace their engines... cost them lots of money out of pocket. Dealer don't cover some of this.

 

u could also take the intake off and have it port and polished and then if u wanted to do alot of work strip the motor down and have it bored out 50 thousanths of aninch and put a bigger crank, pistions, and a bigger cam, bigger injectors and also put a msd distributor ,coil blaster, and a 6al ignition box with good spark plugs along with 10mm spark plug wires then u would have a sweet and fast ride
