Please Help - Need Advice - '88 Accord LX
Hello all!
I have a 1988 Honda Accord LX, that for the most part, has given me no trouble. Only 120,000 miles
Recently, everytime I break, I hear a terrible crunching noise coming from the driver's side front tire area. It's only when I break. My break pads and rotors are okay. I was told by a friend that it could be a caliper (Piston or slide bolt) that's stuck - if that makes sense? So it's not working in conjunction with the rotor maybe?
I'm not car savvy but would like to learn. I would also like to save some money b/c i'm a broke college student - so if this is possibly an easy fix, I'd like to do it myself. Any ideas/suggestions/advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!!!!
