Default Rotor Rust on 2018 Accord

Hello Community. I have a 2018 Accord and noticed a rust ring around the inner edges of the rotor (see picture attached) while washing the car. The rust is only present on the front passenger rotor and not the other three. I was wondering if this is a cause for concern and if I should take the car to be inspected or if it can be removed? Please advise.

The car is about 3 weeks old and I presume the rust accumulated while sitting on the lot. However my father has a 2014 Accord and does not have this problem on his vehicle.

there is no concern for rust on the rotor. if you wash your car an got water on the rotor, the whole rotor will have a light coat of rust. if you are not pleased with this, you can remove the wheel and rotor, light sand the rust area, tape up the shiny part of the rotor that the pad touches and do a light aluminum painting to not rust. any paint will not last long on the rotor due to the high heat it will burn off any type of paint eventually.

That's what I do ,I clean up the rust and spray the area with a high heat paint,no need to worry about getting the paint on the rest of the rotor as the shoes will rub it off, good luck. You can also buy what is called a rotor hat that covers the area ,some people buy the chrome ones but I don't care for them.
