Default Slipping transmission 97 accord auto

Hello, just wondering if theres a fix for my tranny. I just picked up my new to me 1997 honda accord automatic for a steal of a price. Though the transmission is slipping really bad. I changed the fluid out, and noticed some metal buildup on the bolt magnet. No chunks, just fine shavings. Has 107k miles, everything else works great. Any suggestions? A solenoid? New tranny?

Also if this means anything, the shifter **** was replaced because the stock one just randomly busted apart. My friend who I bought it from put an aftermarket autozone **** on it, could that cause it?
