Default A Spare Tire for the 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid

If you've got a 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid, then you know it doesn't come with a spare tire.

I have a 2021 Accord Touring Hybrid, which also doesn't have a real spare tire. However, thanks to the terrific advice I received here, I was able to put together a 100% OEM spare tire assembly using parts from other 2021 Accords which did have a real spare tire. The lease on my 2021 Accord is ending, and I am about to lease a new 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid.

Will the spare tire assembly that fits perfectly in my 2021 Accord Touring Hybrid also fit in the 2025 model?

There is a full size well and bolt in the center of the well. What you will need is something to span the gap of the tire and well as it’s under the carpet in the trunk. I didn’t have and plywood so I laminated several heavy pieces of cardboard. I also have a heavy trunk mat from Weather Tech over the whole thing (chances are you’ll have the Honda OEM mat as it is part of the protection kit and it seems that the dealers are adding that to the cars).

I purchased a kit from Amazon and it included everything! Fits perfectly. Let me know if you want a picture or more details.

I love my 25!

This is really good news. We went all-OEM for our 2021 ATH, including the foam insert that holds it all together, so from what you wrote, we should have no problem. Thanks very much.

Let me know if you want pictures...easy to do...just unloading the trunk some.

The kit from Amazon was not exactly inexpensive yet the quality of the tire, rim, bolts (yeah they give you extra bolts), jack stand and other tools is excellent.

You simply drop it into the well and secure it with the provided hardware.

What trim line did you get?

In 2021 we bought all the parts from a local Honda dealer (except for the actual spare tire, which was less expensive elsewhere.) So, no surprise, everything fit perfectly into the trunk. We'll pick up the 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid in a few days, so this is the plan:

We need to return the 2021 as it was delivered to us, which means removing the spare tire assembly and replacing that with the original parts that came with the car. (The compressor never even left the plastic bag it came in.) Then, when we have the 2025 home, we'll make the swap.

I did the same exact thing for our 2023 Accord Sport Hybrid, bought the kit on Amazon, fits perfect:-)'

I wish these car manufacturers gave people the option to buy one, OR JUST SUPPLY the dang things
